TIPS FOR CHOOSING A WATCH BASED ON SKIN TONE

Hi, Watch Studio Lovers!

Have you ever been confused about which watch suits your skin tone? What colors are suitable for your skin tone? Well, this time WS Magazine wants to give you tips on choosing a watch according to your skin tone!

First, did you know that skin tone is divided into several categories? In the Fitzpatrick Skin Type, skin color is divided into six categories. Let's check them out below!

Fitzpatrick Scale

  • Skin Type I (Fair and tends to be pale)
  • Skin Type II (Fair, peachy, slightly reddish)
  • Skin Type III (Light yellow undertones)
  • Skin Type IV (Yellow undertones, slightly darker)
  • Skin Type V (Brownish)
  • Skin Type VI (Dark brown to black)

Our skin colors are very diverse. Which one do you belong to, WS Lovers? If you're still unsure which watch suits you or your loved ones (ooh la la...), here are our tips:

1. Skin Types I and II
For WS Lovers with fair or pale skin, you can consider choosing a watch with a silver, rose gold, white, or pastel colored strap. These strap color options can give an elegant impression and add color to your skin. For those of you, light skin team, who like a bold style, you can wear watches with eye-catching strap colors like pink, red, blue, or black. These colors will stand out on your skin.

2. Skin Types III and IV
Skin Types III and IV will look great with rose gold, dark brown, light brown, or caramel watch straps. These strap colors will look elegant on your skin tone. Neutral colors like black and white for watch straps are also suitable for those with Skin Types III and IV.
3. Skin Types V and VI
Owners of Skin Types V and VI are very suitable for rose gold, gold, white, black, yellow, and neon green watch straps. These colors will look elegant or provide a striking contrast, giving WS Lovers a bolder appearance. You're guaranteed to be the center of attention.
Well, those are some tips for choosing a watch that matches your skin. Don't forget to always take care of your skin's health! Use sunscreen to protect your skin!
